The graduate council is a student body that represents the interests of the graduate student body at the department of mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor through a variety services, events, and social activities aimed at heightening the graduate student body.
Mechanical Engineering Student Leader Board (MESLB)
MESLB is a dedicated committee of students and faculty which works to:
Improve the experience of all mechanical engineering students at the University of Michigan
Provide a voice for the students to the administration by improving communication and fostering a greater sense of community and cooperation among various student groups
Act in an advisory capacity to the Chair
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
The University of Michigan chapter of ASME promotes and enhances the technical competency and professional well-being of its members, providing quality programs and activities in mechanical engineering to better enable mechanical engineers to contribute to the well-being of humankind.
Nanotechnology & Integrated Microsystems Student Association (NIMSA)
NIMSA is an interdisciplinary academic career and social support network that targets undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of integrated microsystems and nanotechnology.
Pi Tau Sigma (PTS)
Pi Tau Sigma is the National Mechanical Engineering Honor Society and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. University of Michigan is represented through the Pi Rho chapter. The organization:
